Ex-Manchester United flop Memphis Depay is set to sign for Brazilian side Corinthians, potentially marking an end to his career in Europe.

Depay has been biding his time when it comes to picking his next club this summer. The 30-year-old departed Spanish side Atletico Madrid as a free agent in June and according to , will now head to Brazil to sign for Corinthians, having already completed a medical in his native Netherlands.

As we have recently seen with Steven Bergwijn, Depay's move to Brazil may spell the end of his time playing in the Netherlands national team under Ronald Koeman. The head coach barred the former Ajax man for moving to the Saudi Pro League as he deemed the league uncompetitive.
