He told reporters: "I can understand that the players aren't happy. I was a player myself and I understand them. They all want to show that they can be part of the team and can help achieve our objectives. I understand it perfectly, but I don't understand the reaction because it's a situation that one has to accept. We made the best decisions and that's what the players need to see. Normally, everyone celebrates the victory, and I like that more. I want to see the reaction on the pitch when they play."

That victory kept Barcelona four points clear at the top of the table ahead of second-placed Real Madrid, who they line up against in the Copa del Rey final this weekend. While Flick will have to rotate due to the sheer number of matches coming up but the German has made it clear that you have to earn your game time in the first-team.
